Ben Fuller, Office Manager

moved to St. Louis from New York City in 1993. He was an In Flight Supervisor for Trans World Airlines for many years before leaving in 1997. He then started a new career in veterinary care. He worked as both a technician and Practice Manager before joining Kingsbury in 2002. He lives in the Central West End and enjoys spending time with family.

 


Laura Knoblock, Receptionist 

earned a bachelor's in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2012. She joined Kingsbury in 2020. She is a St. Louis native and currently live in South City with her two cats, Barry and Pepper. In her spare time she enjoys music, movies and video games.


 

Kathy DeLassus,Lead Registered Veterinary Technician

earned an Associates in Applied Science- Veterinary Technology from Jefferson College and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2010. She has been with Kingsbury since 2009 and has been the Technician Supervisor since 2014.  She received her Veterinary Cannabis Counselor certification in 2020 and has a special interest in anesthesia. She plays a key role in keeping us up to date on drug protocols and anesthetic procedures. She lives in South City with her husband, Joe, and their two mutts, Shortcake and Woody.  In her spare time she enjoys home-brewing, cooking, live music and spending time outside.

 


 

Elise Zobrist, Registered Veterinary Technician

earned a Bachelor's in Biology from Missouri State University before receiving an Associates in Applied Science- Veterinary Technology from Jefferson College and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2012.  She joined Kingsbury in 2014. She has a special interest in oral health and dermatology. She lives in South County with her husband, Steve, their son and their pack of Shih Tzus, Jet, Murphy and Kenzie. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, crafting, and spending time at the lake. 

 


 

Meghan Schmidt, Veterinary Technician

earned a Bachelor's in American Culture with a minor in History from Fontbonne University in 2010. She had always been interested in veterinary care and joined Kingsbury in 2017 as a receptionist. She was quickly recognized as capable for on the job training as a technician and fell in love with the work and has been teching ever since. She is a St. Louis native and currently lives in Maplewood with her daughter and two rescue kitties. She enjoys craft beer, trivia nights, listening to podcasts and running.


Charlene Green, Veterinary Technician

moved to the St. Louis region from Denver in 1989. She has worked primarily with horses at different barns since 1995 and in the last year, she switched to companion animal care. She joined Kingsbury in 2020. She is the proud mother of three adult daughters. She lives in St. Louis City with her two dogs, Moose (English bulldog) and Thomas (chihuahua). She enjoys refinishing furniture, walking through parks and exploring art museums.  

Jill Schiller Cook, Technician Assistant

earned a Bachelor's in Mass Communications from the University of Missouri- St. Louis in 2009. She returned to Kingsbury in 2020 after previously working with us 2009-2014. She had left us to pursue pet sitting on a more full time basis. She lives in South City with her wife, Missy, their two dogs, Yuki, and five cats (the neighborhood alley cats have spread the word they are friendly). She enjoys editing, bird watching and gardening. 


 

Olivia Casey, Groomer

started grooming as a profession in 2007. She grew up with rescue dogs and had to groom them herself, so grooming was a natural choice. She joined Kingsbury in 2017. Her favorite dog to groom is a doodle, but loves grooming complicated dogs that require scissoring. She lives in Illinois with her husband and their six dogs Bernice, Brutus, Henry, Krum, Coal, and Penelope. She loves the outdoors and crafting. 


Shawna Thacker, Groomer

earned two associate's degrees, Business Management and Business Marketing, from Parkland College in 2014. She chose grooming as a profession in 2017 because she wanted to work in animal care and it evolved into grooming. She joined Kingsbury in 2019. Her favorite dogs to groom are ones that require pattern scissoring, such as schnauzers and oodles. She lives with her cat Sir Klau von Phishtik, gecko Lady Louhi, and has a nano shrimp tank.  She enjoys camping, bowling and singing in the shower.
