Training and behavior is a topic not limited to dogs.  We also treat our feline friends that may have behavior problems, but encourage all cat owners to enrich cats' lives with fun games, training and a unique environment.  Check out some of these great links and resources for ideas.

Dr. Sophia Yin: Cat Tricks
The basics of training a cat.  Videos, articles and book suggestions to train your kitty.

Cat Behavior Associates

 The Indoor Cat Initiative
We believe that indoor enrichment is as important as an excellent diet and health care. To that end, we have provided resources on this page to explain what it means to be a cat, help get you off to the right start, introduce you to the things indoor cats need, help you troubleshoot problems, and show you where to get more information.

Kitty Cams: National Geographic and University of GA Project
Kitty Cams research examined the nature of outdoor activities of owned cats by monitoring pets outfitted with "Kitty Cam" video cameras. Kitty Cams allow recording of a cat-eye view without disrupting behavior.  Kitty Cams were used to investigate the activities of urban free-roaming cats in Athens, Georgia from Nov. 2010 -Oct. 2011, with goals for wildlife conservation and for improving the health and well-being of pet cats.

Microchip Cat Door: SureFlap
Check out this high-tech cat door.  SureFlap cat doors recognize the ID chip already implanted in your cat, allowing access to your pet and making unwanted visitors a thing of the past. Your home becomes a secure environment for your pet, leading to a happier, more relaxed animal.

Choose Which Pets Have Access to Specific Food: Meow Space
The MeowSpace is a fully protective pet enclosure designed to help you feed your cats and dogs separately, without having to police them, or keep your pets in separate rooms all day. Used to hold the litter box, it will keep your dogs away from the cat?s poop, too. Policing pets can be very frustrating. The MeowSpace eliminates the policing around food and/or litter.
