Bret Shaw, D.V.M. 

is a 1999 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.  He earned his BS in elementary education and a masters in Elementary Administration at Southwest Missouri State University. You may be surprised to find out that he taught 6th grade in Springfield, Missouri for four years prior to veterinary school. In  2014, he bought the practice from Dr. Brammeier. His fields of interest include ophthalmology and internal medicine. He also enjoys running, camping, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Theresa and their dog Piper.
